Welcome to Vernon Hills Cane Corso, located at a beautiful 7,000-foot elevation in Northern Arizona. Devoted to the breed since 2003, we strive to preserve the Cane Corso through careful selection, focusing on producing healthy puppies that mature into well-rounded, stable adults.
We believe it is an owner’s right to confidently take their Corso into any environment. To achieve this, our puppies are raised with extensive early socialization. Our dedicated "puppy yard" features obstacle courses, different ground textures, and interactive tools designed to build ultimate confidence from a young age. In addition to this early exposure, we utilize the Volhard's Puppy Aptitude Test to perfectly match the right puppy with the right family dynamics.
As an officially recognized breeder by the Cane Corso Association of America (CCAA) and screened by Good Dog for responsible breeding practices, we are dedicated to putting in the time, effort, and love required to better the breed.

We are committed to responsibly breeding with our puppies' health and longevity at the forefront. Our breeding dogs undergo rigorous health evaluations, including PennHIP/OFA scoring for Hip and Elbow Dysplasia (to reduce the risk of joint pain and lameness) and OFA Advanced Cardiac clearances. We strive to only pair dogs that will preserve the structural and physical integrity of the breed.

Bringing a Cane Corso into your home is a 10-to-12-year journey, and we are with you every step of the way. We take pride in being a lifelong resource for our extended "Maximo family."
Lifetime Return Policy: We stand behind every dog we produce. If at any point in your dog's life you are no longer able to provide a home for them, they are required to come back to us. No Maximo Corso will ever end up in a shelter.
Health Guarantee: Every puppy comes with a written contract and a foundational health guarantee against hereditary defects. We breed for longevity, and we back that up with our word and our paperwork.
Breeder Mentorship: Whether you have questions about the "teenage" stubborn phase, nutrition, or advanced training, our door is always open. We offer 24/7 support to help you navigate the unique needs of the Italian Guardian.
